Harry Potter Secret Messages About The Human Mind

Short story-telling

Harry Potter is a series of seven fantasy novels written by the British author J. K. Rowling. The books chronicle the adventures of a wizard, Harry Potter, and his friends Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger, all of whom are students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The main story concerns Harry's quest to overcome the Dark wizard Lord Voldemort, whose aims are to become immortal, conquer the wizarding world, subjugate non-magical people, and destroy all those who stand in his way, especially Harry Potter.

The last book is called Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows. The Deathly Hallows are three highly powerful magical objects supposedly created by Death and given to each of three brothers in the Peverell family. They consisted of the Elder Wand, the Resurrection Stone and the Cloak of Invisibility.

"The Cloak of Invisibility" the triangle
But let’s take a break from the amazing story of Harry Potter and question ourselves, what do the Deathly Hollows truly are about? Do they have a meaning in our reality as well?  Do they direct us to the most powerful machine ever built, a machine which everyone owns but very few gain 100% of its capability? Do the Deathly Hollows direct us to the human mind?

Secrets:

The Cloak Of Invisibility – As its name suggests, renders the user completely invisible. No one can know what the user is doing behind that thick but in the meantime such powerful cloth. But, do we truly own such a cloak? YES! We actually do! It’s the shelter that surrounds your thoughts so only you and nobody else can hear them. This cloak has been designed for you and for your use only.

The Resurrection Stone – The book tells us that it’s a stone which can summon the spirits of the dead. Wait a second; can our mind really do that? Can we think of anyone we’ve unfortunately lost during our lives and while we’re thinking of them, cry because they were so important, or giggle because  a fun moment we had kicks in, or even have conversation with them in our own minds, know their opinions about things, what would they do and stuff? We can actually do that! The stone symbolizes our ability to remember things, to resurrect them from our deepest memories and bring them in front of our minds.

The Elder Wand - A wand, in the magic world of Harry Potter, is a tool that can produce every type of charm the user wants and so, achieve anything he or she needs. The Elder Wand it’s an immensely powerful wand that was considered undefeatable. Well, we do have this one too! It’s our will power! If we have it, we can achieve anything we want! Everything you can imagine becomes your reality if you focus your entire energy and your will power on it!

According to the legend, he who possesses the all three artifacts would become the most powerful wizard in the world, the Master of Death.

So, if we have all three of them, are we powerful beings as well? Do we have such a power within us that can help us achieve want we want, remember our past and stay completely invisible by other people?

The answer is, as it has always been, YES, we do!

Books Instead Of Toys In McDonald’s Happy Meal

After a successful pilot program, McDonald's has pledged to distribute 15 million books in England over the next two years. In its Happy Meals. Instead of toys. McDonald's branches in the United Kingdom will include a book with each Happy Meal sold as part of a promotion called "Happy Readers," starting Wednesday. For the next five weeks, Happy Meals in the UK will feature non-fiction books from DK Books' Amazing World Series, with categories of Stars and Planets, Big Cats, and Oceans.

Alistair McCrow, McDonald’s ‘vice president of UK marketing said: “With eight in 10 families in the UK visiting our restaurants in the course of the year we’ve got an opportunity like no one else to give that experience to so much of the UK population. The stats are startling. Our restaurants are fun enjoyable places families come to together and relax so there’s an opportunity for us to inject some fun into the reading experience.”

The brand often attracts criticism for marketing to children and the pilot was criticized by the Children’s Food Campaign and called an “inappropriate marketing strategy at a time when there is an epidemic of childhood obesity”.
